Morning Scripture
“Then the waters returned and covered the chariots, the horsemen, and all the army of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them. Not so much as one of them remained. But the children of Israel had walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.”
Exodus 14:28-29 NKJV

“Then the waters returned and covered all the chariots and charioteers—the entire army of Pharaoh. Of all the Egyptians who had chased the Israelites into the sea, not a single one survived. But the people of Israel had walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground, as the water stood up like a wall on both sides.”

Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, thank you for this demonstration and reminder - that once we are delivered to the other side of our circumstances, we should consider what is behind us to be washed away. Glory to your name, Lord. Forgive us for always looking back and expecting to see what we have left behind. Forgive us for trying to go back and inspect what is no longer. Father, we need the courage to know that the only path is the path forward. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Morning Scripture
“So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.” Exodus 14:30-31 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/exo.14.30-31.NKJV “That is how the Lord rescued Israel from the hand of the Egyptians that day. And the Israelites saw the bodies of the Egyptians washed up on the seashore. When the people of Israel saw the mighty power that the Lord had unleashed against the Egyptians, they were filled with awe before him. They put their faith in the Lord and in his servant Moses.” Exodus 14:30-31 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/exo.14.30-31.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father God thank you for each example of deliverance. Thank you for shelter from the floods of life and the enemies that seek to chase us. Father, remind us that life is not perfect nor is it without flaws. But you have promised to keep us as only you can, when we lean and depend on you. Thank you Lord for these thy gifts. In Jesus name. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” Exodus 15:1-2 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/exo.15.1-2.NKJV “Then Moses and the people of Israel sang this song to the Lord: “I will sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him!” Exodus 15:1-2 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/exo.15.1-2.NLT |
NOTE: The song is the real prayer. I have included a few verses and the links to all 18 verses. Read them. They are powerful.
Exodus 15:1-18 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/exo.15.1-18.NKJV Exodus 15:1-18 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/exo.15.1-18.NLT Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. For the song on deliverance you gave Moses that still stands to this day. Thanks be to God. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
“When Pharaoh’s horses, chariots, and charioteers rushed into the sea, the Lord brought the water crashing down on them. But the people of Israel had walked through the middle of the sea on dry ground! Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine and led all the women as they played their tambourines and danced. And Miriam sang this song: “Sing to the Lord, for he has triumphed gloriously; he has hurled both horse and rider into the sea.”” Exodus 15:19-21 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/exo.15.21.NLT “For the horses of Pharaoh went with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought back the waters of the sea upon them. But the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea. Then Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances. And Miriam answered them: “Sing to the Lord, For He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea!”” Exodus 15:19-21 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/exo.15.19-21.NKJV |
NOTE: This second prayer/song in Miriam's praise and worship. Miriam is identified as a prophetess - an evangelist, a minister. I love the representation of women ministers in the Bible as far back as the Old Testament. Here to Serve. Amen. Enjoy the praise and worship.
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for the women ministers in our lives who serve with compassion and grace. You have called them to lead but also to follow; to be of support, but not to overtake. Father, we thank you for their example of obedience. Thanks be to God. In Jesus name we pray. Amen. |

Morning Scripture
“So Moses brought Israel from the Red Sea; then they went out into the Wilderness of Shur. And they went three days in the wilderness and found no water. Now when they came to Marah, they could not drink the waters of Marah, for they were bitter. Therefore the name of it was called Marah. And the people complained against Moses, saying, “What shall we drink?”” Exodus 15:22-24 NKJV https://bible.com/bible/114/exo.15.22-24.NKJV “Then Moses led the people of Israel away from the Red Sea, and they moved out into the desert of Shur. They traveled in this desert for three days without finding any water. When they came to the oasis of Marah, the water was too bitter to drink. So they called the place Marah (which means “bitter”). Then the people complained and turned against Moses. “What are we going to drink?” they demanded.” Exodus 15:22-24 NLT https://bible.com/bible/116/exo.15.22-24.NLT |
Morning Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for all things. Father, forgive us for complaining about the small things when you have just given us victory. Forgive us for thinking that you would leave us after you have saved us. We are grateful to your goodness in all things. Help us to see beyond ourselves. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen. |
